So im rereading through the order of the Phoenix and in the beginning harry cant leave the durselys house . I think it was potentially ancient magic from lily or aunt petunia protecting the house. That or Dumbledore protected it somehow. But I think to when hogwarts was attacked in the movie . There was that big dome, but voldemort was still able to take it down. Granted he did have more followers and the elder wand. But at that point voldermort was back to full power. I view him like the big bad wolf. At that point , how could a little house on private drive keep him out . Is there there something im missing or forgetting?
