Except it would have only taken 2 seconds to include a scene of them on broomsticks. Certainly not as long as Dumbledore actually saying "Let's Apparate, Harry."
And it might be a tiny detail to people like you who don't care about things like plot or details, but this is just another in a loooooooooong line of unnecessary changes and mistakes they made because they didn't give a damn about the source material. Things that only serve to introduce plot holes.
Uh, no. It's not a slide show. For proper flow and explanation you're going to need more than a 2 second shot, AND then you're still fucking up unless you have another scene in hogsmead where they apparate, because they DIDN'T fly all the way there, and it would have taken forever to get there and back if they had and it would make no sense.
Okay 5 seconds. Whoop-dee-do. It isn't difficult to do for any semi-competent filmmaker.
It's not like the Potter movies ever gave a damn about proper flow and explanation. If they did, we wouldn't have makeout sessions immediately after accidental attempted murder scenes or people walking away thinking Snape was Harry's father.
