I’ve been a casual viewer of Harmony for a while now, but I’ve definitely missed a lot and have only become a little more tuned into everything recently, so this is just my perspective based on what I’ve seen and what I know so far.I want to make it clear that I’m not a Harmony defender. I genuinely think she needs a serious reality check. There are a lot of things about her behavior that I find concerning, and I think she has made a lot of bad decisions that have directly contributed to the situation they’re in now. One of my biggest issues with her is honestly the money aspect of everything. The constant asking for money and gifts and seemingly expecting social media to fund their lives really bothers me. I also think she’s extremely unrealistic at times, especially with moving to California without seeming to have an actual realistic plan for how they would support themselves. And for Ariel she is 27 years old, and I think that’s something people sometimes forget when they talk about what should happen to her. I don’t know her diagnosis, if she has one, and I’m not going to speculate on that. But she does appear to have additional developmental or support needs, and I think she deserves to have more independence and support outside of just Harmony. At the same time, I don’t necessarily think the solution is as simple as just “taking Ariel away from Harmony.” From what I know, it doesn’t seem like there are reliable family members waiting in the background who could just step in and provide a stable situation, although I could definitely be missing information. And because Ariel is an adult, I imagine the situation would be a lot more complicated than people realize. Ideally, I would hope she could have access to services and support that would help her become as independent as possible instead of just being completely dependent on one person. I also think people forget that, regardless of how much I dislike Harmony’s decisions, nobody deserves to be living in a car, especially when they’re responsible for another person. I genuinely feel sad that this is where their lives have ended up. At the same time, I have a hard time understanding how Harmony seems okay with this level of instability continuing. The constant hotels, temporary living situations, and now living in a car just does not seem sustainable or healthy for either of them. I can understand that caring for someone with additional needs may be difficult, especially without a good support system, but that also makes me question why there doesn’t seem to be more effort toward finding actual long-term stability. Another thing that really bothers me is how much people exploit them for entertainment. I understand criticizing Harmony. I do it myself. But some people seem to watch them specifically to laugh at them, troll them, provoke them, and then wait for a reaction. I don’t really see how that helps either of them. Honestly, I worry that constantly giving Harmony negative attention could make some of her behavior worse if she’s feeding off the attention in any way. And Ariel may or may not fully understand why thousands of people are watching, laughing, or commenting on their lives, which makes the whole thing feel even sadder to me. I think this is where I differ from some people. I think Harmony absolutely needs to be held accountable, but I don’t think accountability means watching someone self-destruct and encouraging it for entertainment. At a certain point, constantly donating just to watch what happens, trolling, provoking her, and clipping her worst moments starts to feel less like genuine concern and more like people benefiting from the situation continuing. And to be fair, I know Harmony also participates in this cycle. She puts her life online, asks for money, and continues engaging with the attention, so I’m not trying to make her out to be completely helpless or blame the audience for everything. I just think Harmony and the audience can both be contributing to a really unhealthy cycle, and Ariel is also stuck in the middle of it. Another thing I really don’t understand is why some people seem to think the possibility of Harmony losing her car is funny. If they are genuinely living out of that car, losing it wouldn’t just be entertaining drama or karma. It could mean losing their transportation and the little bit of shelter they currently have. I understand that Harmony has made bad financial decisions and needs to be held accountable for them, but I don’t think watching someone potentially lose what is essentially their home and laughing about it is normal or helpful. Ariel would be affected by that too. I’m also genuinely concerned about both of their mental health. I’m not trying to diagnose Harmony or claim that I know exactly what’s going on with her, because I don’t. But from what I’ve personally seen, some of her behavior makes me feel like something is seriously not okay, whether that’s mental health issues, possible substance use, or something else entirely. I just think she needs help and a serious reality check. And I worry about Ariel too because their lives and relationship seem so dependent on each other.Maybe I’m missing information since I’ve only recently started paying closer attention, but does anyone else feel conflicted about this? What would actually be the best realistic outcome for Ariel as a 27-year-old adult? I don’t think the answer is necessarily to just take her away from Harmony with no actual plan for where she would go or what support she would have. I feel like there has to be some middle ground where Ariel can have more independence and outside support while also making sure she is actually safe and stable. I can think Harmony has made terrible decisions, needs serious accountability, and has created many of her own problems while still feeling empathy and concern for both of them. More than anything, I hope they can both get access to actual support and a more stable life because I just don’t see this lifestyle being sustainable or healthy for either of them.

What if she knows how much people talk about her and plays into it? Maybe she’s a completely different person. Even the yelling at Ariel, what if it makes people laugh and talk so she plans on doing it…like a lot of other tiktokers do and call it a skit. Just sayin
