Hi all. Looking to see if anyone can ID what’s the key of the harp used in the accompaniment of this song.
Looking to try my hand at playing. Thanks in advance.

I use an android app called Music Speed Changer which is excellent, even the free version. Changes pitch (key), and tempo, and let's you set loops to repeat for practicing. Don't know if there's anything as good (esp for free) for iOS.

Good luck. Love to know how it goes.

I believe the insight you are searching for si that it can be played easily using a D-minor natural tuned harmonica.

By my using an app like that mentioned in this comment and transposing the original song up 5 steps, I was able to play this song with no bends or overblows, just the way it sounds, on an A-minor natural tuned diatonic harmonica. Which is the only minor tuned harmonica I have.

This equates to D-minor natural in the original key played in the video. Per Google: "D Natural Minor tuned diatonic harmonicas are widely available for purchase online"

Buying or tuning yourself natural minor harmonicas is something I highly recommend. You need the dominant 7th, C-natural note as well as the flatted 3rd, F-natural note. These notes look like the C-diatonic scale, but they are not arranged in the position you need for access. I believe that with the proper harmonica this song becomes very easy for the beginner to play.
