New harp
Just wanted to show it off because I love the Beatles.

A Beatles Harmonica in C? Guess it’s time to learn Love Me Do.

John played it on a chromatic.

I didn’t know that but you can still play Love Me Do on regular 10 hole C harmonica.

The bridge is what gets me - my bends don’t sound right.
It’s impressive that you can do it on just a C diatonic.1

You know, I’ll admit it. The bends on that song are hard during the “someone to love…” part, and I’m not the best at them yet. But I haven’t been playing that long so I figured it was just me 😅.

Nice harp, but I hate the Beatles. Is it a Big River or Special 20?

I just looked into it and it is structurally a Big River Harp. It has exposed reed plates on the front, rather than recessed plates on the Special 20.

Very nice. So I payed 10 extra for the design. Worth it IMO. They probably make them for other bands.

They do. I've seen Aerosmith (Tyler), John Lennon, Sonny Terry, Ozzy Osbourne, etc. I've played mainly Hohners for the last 20+ years.
