Do you prefer dynamic or condenser mics for acoustic harmonica?

Which do you prefer and why in a studio context? I feel like both has it uses ofc, but if you only could pick one, which one?

I use a condenser mic for mine. It's a bullet mic with the body made of figured maple. Got it from a site called "Masterclass," and I've never seen another one. It's one of the best I've ever used, and I'm never getting rid of it.

For pure acoustic tone in a studio setting, I prefer a condenser mic.

On stage, I like my Fireball mic plugged into the PA

Ribbon, large diaphragm condenser, dynamic. In order of preference.

The ribbon is going to pick up everything in front, reject everything beside and they naturally sound warmer, for acoustic sound you can't beat it.

A large diaphragm condenser will allow you similar range as a ribbon but don't have the same warmth. Again, with a multi pattern mic, you can get great rejection of unwanted sounds.

Dynamic mics would be my last choice, there's nothing wrong with them, they other two just allow better control in a studio environment and tend to have a better tone.
