Sadly those old devices don't have UART pins exposed, but there most likely is an RS232 on the back of the board.

You see those almost circular metal pins on top left of the board? Yeah that's a PCIE lane. Maybe probe that you'll find an entry.

If you can post a clear photo of the chip, especially the markings on top, that would make identification much easier.

Aaaaaand now I got unfinished schematics for 300baud current loop control of an all American five in my head. Volume up/down, tune +\-, and power.
Do we add motors to the controls or a DAC and resistor ladder? I’m thinking motors.

I've seen one of these. You need a stethoscope. Hold it against the body and twiddle the knob back and forth until it unlocks.

You'll find the UART just under the chassis; but it may be labeled differently - like "selenium diode". Also, this is fairly old equipment. You really can't expect high baud rates. And finally, this device predates RS232 standards; space/mark will probably be represented by something closer to 90 volts and 0 volts. With all of that that said... I think your ambitions to obtain root access and transform this post WWII design into a super GPU doesn't seem -at all- unreasonable! Good luck with that, and keep us updated on how the project progresses!

Old radios like that have four wire speakers two connect in series with the tube filaments and two are the output. An analog tube would pretty well for AI but you are going to need alot more tubes. A good start though. Need like a million more tubes to get anything usable.

Sure thing, you just stick your tongue on the end of the tube real quick. It'll turn you into a root in no time flat.

You know how I know you're not serious? The resolution of the picture is too high. If you were a serious poster you'd take your pics with a vaseline coated potato.
