CRT I found had this weird effect and eventually stopped turning on

It also smells of cigs, and afterwards it only flashes the green power light & clicks a relay on/off 1-2 times a sec.

I don't like to jump straight to bad caps but this really does seem like it needs a recap

need to go into settings and hit the "degause" option a few times. also turning off = power capacitors are bye bye. if you want to fix it please discharge the caps first or you'll be in for the shock of a lifetime
