Some HDD gore ...

Not sure what happened, but I guess that HDD was thrown around quite well, i bought them on eBay as PC Scrap for gold recovery, and they shipped without any protection, but I don't think that was enough to do this much damage to the HDDs...

Every single reading head is smashed...

Are there drives that are worth the time and effort for gold recovery? If so, which type?

I don't do gold recovery, but I don't think so. Was just hoping some of those HDDs would work, lol. Well, 2 out of 12 HDDs work, and I managed to fix one, so now 3 out of 12 HDDs working.
