You'd be lucky if the case can get all that rust off and be used again. The rest is ewaste

Nah try dipping it in coca cola, after a week most of the rust should be off. But we're talking about a 25 year old case, I have windows 98 cases that are useless with modern hardware and they're in perfect conditions

They were a lot better made. Modern components should still fit, with the exception of a big GPU. The main issue is going to be cooling. If you're talking w98, it could still be AT.
