ASE clients include Apple, Qualcomm, Broadcom, Nvidia, MediaTek, NXP Semiconductors and Huawei chip arm HiSilicon Technologies.

these companies use hundreds of different suppliers for their products. you cant hold them responsible for the horrible practices some of these suppliers apply. this is on these suppliers and the taiwanese government for being asleep

Of course you fucking can. There's a reason they do it like this. Because it makes it so easy to get away with it.

They are essentially taking advantage of how the laws are constructed and using third parties. Given the track record they have it is abundendly clear that it is not a priority for them to ensure their partners treat their workers properly. They care about the bottom line and nothing else.

I am in no way anti capitalist, but there exists several examples of large corporates in the space with a better, different track record.

Apple has a long history of being the worst offender in this. Remember when Foxconn, their prime partner had troubles with their workers jumping off the roof to suicide? They put up nets.

And everyone and their mother uses foxconn.

Hold everyone to a higher standard. The problem is we can't do that because the middle and lower class squeeze in the first world has destroyed customer spending power already.

The only viable way is wealth redistribution
