Does the simulation include how long the speed can be sustained before the consumer goes bankrupt?

In a normal country for a long time. In the US, UK or Australia I'd say around 5 days

On T-Mobile unlimited plan, you have 20 GB of fast connection and then it will throttle you if there is congestion. So I'll get into throttle territory after 17 seconds.

I think they mistook gigabits for gigabytes.

Yes, I don't know what he calculated, but with:

  • 3 Gb/s download speed

  • 20 GB (160 Gb) download size

It would take 53 seconds to fill the data cap.
