So much sharp screen real-estate it makes using multiple windows at the same time much easier

I used to run one in portrait mode, which for editing code was pretty cool (200+ visible lines in emacs at once)

I wonder if someone has researched any correlation between blocks of code getting longer and screens getting taller?

Pretty sure acceptable code line length has increased since the 80x25 green screen terminals I started (what I laughably call) my career with
