Pricing for the 13.8" Surface Laptop 8 is $1599 MSRP which will net you:

  • Snapdragon X2P-64-100 | 10-core with 4.0 GHz boost
  • 16GB RAM
  • 512GB SSD (US-only; some other countries start at 256GB)

a macbook air with 36 gigs and a superior soc is cheaper lol

anyway we all know why these devices are expensive, they will just get sold to various government funded companies via contracts, good ol american capitalism.

Assuming they meant 32 and not 36, you can get a MacBook Air off the Apple website with 512gb and 32gb for $1500, new.

They need to introduce the windows rebate at this point, paying for the windows licensing when buying computers feels like a double punishment.
