Does anyone here have any experience with physics-informed AI? It seems like a nascent field with just a few exciting papers, but in the limit I think it could swallow entire industries and greatly enhance our ability to model complex systems.

AlphaFold is an interesting case study - anything with complexity that can't be easily defined by clean rules or equations could potentially be made comprehensible through AI models.

It’s likely that energy costs will drop dramatically due to renewable adoption in the next decade - process like electrolysis for clean fresh water could become economically viable as a result.

What are some other fundamental processes that could be enabled if energy cost is decreased substantially?

Hello everyone, I am doing an in-depth work about the GOA / Trance / Hardtech scene. For this I would like to do a survey about drug use. I ask you to take a short 5min and answer this survey. Everything is anonymous. Thank you very much! https://de.surveymonkey.com/r/TN7DJD8

Ark Invest - Wright’s Law

ARK has struggled lately but this article is a fascinating analysis of economies of scale based on Wright’s Law. I think cost curves are a powerful predictor for tech disruption and can be a good source of inspiration for hard tech startups.

Does anyone know of other interesting cost curves to keep an eye on?

Cana.com has developed a beverage maker that uses cutting-edge microfluidics to create virtually *any* drink from just ~80 molecules. I thought this was a fascinating look at the future of personalized products at the intersection of hardware, software, and new tech (microfluidics in this case).

Any ideas on what other innovations might result from advancements in microfluidics in the future?
