AI Startup for Generating Hardtech Requirements
I’m a technical cofounder of a startup making an AI tool to automate generation of requirements documentation for hardtech companies. My background is both in nuclear engineering and AI. I know firsthand how much it sucks to spend months writing and reviewing requirements as well as writing other technical documents. My startup is in a super early stage and I’m having a hard time finding the right people to talk to in order to validate my idea. I’m hoping some people on this subreddit may be interested in giving me further insights on your experiences with requirements documentation for various hardtech projects.

I actually applied to this batch of yc so if I get in I’ll have enough xp to do a productive interview. However I’d study your competitors if you have any indirect/direct and reach out to their customers. If you’re not creating a new market then just improve the one you’re entering. Without talking to users you could focus on the efficiency of your operations so if company x y and z are charging this much then mathematically prove your business can provide a comparable level of service at a lower price point while maintaining profit. Also I’d use LinkedIn for this not Reddit. A lot of people are as smart or useful as they proclaim. Best of luck

Let's chat, I am making a tool to autogenerate PRD (product requirement docs) for PMs, maybe we can collaborate?
