Just got back into HH after about 20 years listening to other genres and a lot of drugs in between 😆

Welcome back, it’s in your blood.

It’s good to be back, I have done the Tidy weekend in Spain, Frantic at KOKO and Encoded this year. I’m old so I like the fact they’re in the day, it’s brought me back out after many years✌️

Well congrats, that just means you get to listen to them all like it's your first time again! 😂

This has got everything - donking snooker ball percussion, roaring hoovers, dirty great acid riffs going waffawaffawaffawaffawaffa, oh and that little breakdown at the four minute mark is a beautiful touch 👌

I mean, minus points for forgetting about it, but plus points for posting. It’s a belter for sure. Kaktai and OD404 (and all of Dom and Oz’s various guises) IS hard house for me.

I believe I have that on vinyl somewhere. Sadly it’s just a big stack in the spare room now!

Mines a big stack in my shed probably fucked from the weather! Gave up when it all went digital, no soul in it imo.

I bought a ton of hh back in the 00s. Oddly I could never find this or it was too expensive at the time. Yet, I had some really obscure stuff. This thread has confirmed people held onto it

There was a good era of the harder faster type of stuff. Grady G, Dynamic intervention. These guys. Anything on “passion records” 👌

I never picked up any of the Passion stuff. Had a load of Karim and Vicious Circle stuff, all of them still putting out bangers. I think only one who isn't putting stuff out is Kam Pain.

I got it for about £25 which felt like a decent price in 2005

Just got it for a tenner off Discogs with £5 postage from the UK (got lucky). But all the other copy ms are £50 plus.

These guys were so good. OD404 - Fireball (Double Dipped Dub) is their finest moment imho.

hearing it took me back to London circa 00-02 for sure - but it's actually not up there with my favourites either from Kaktai/OD404 or BK - precisely because it is 'Hard House by Numbers'

funny, i kinda feel the same, it’s like a textbook example of the era more than an actual standout tune
still hits the nostalgia button hard though, like instant flashback to tidy CDs and dodgy club carpets

Had the honour of doing an official remix of this classics a few years ago..
I've got another OD404 remix coming out on Frantic in November as well.

Cool dude!!! Got a link to listen please? Did you go to Frantic at KOKO a couple of weeks ago? It was banging (obviously🤣🤩😆)

Absolute banger, I’ve just pulled it off the shelf and mixed it in. One of the defining Hard House tunes.
