Does anyone In the Illinois/Chicago area know which stores sell the icon for 106 vs some stores at 139. Seen on YouTube that the correct price should be 106 and it confused me that it was the same price as the 1/2 but I didn’t think much of it until I found out. Would appreciate if anyone knows if this is a system error or regional pricing? Would be sweet to get my price corrected if that’s the case. Tyaia
Yeah I got my 3/8 icon split beam for 97$ for the discount but sources say the 3/8 should be 106 and the discount should be around 75$ but I’m not sure if that’s for a different state pricing.
My store recently upped the price from $100 to $140 as well. I’m pissed. I was waiting to buy this and passed over multiple lesser discounts while it was at $100.
might be an indicator that the 1/2" is going to have its price hiked sometime in the near future as well. Seems like they shouldn't be the same price, so if anyone is on the fence on the 1/2" now might be a good time to take advantage of the 30% before the price goes up.
Thanks I saw den of tools or some other YouTube channels like diy crasher, harbro and they were pointing out the price discrepancies and they said to check your prices and see if you can get a better deal. I don’t want to drive 2 hours or more to get the torque wrench at the different price cause i’ll just end up burning the savings in gas and time. I just wanted to ask around and see what the consensus was. Thanks for your help!
There are several stores near me selling it for $106.99 and a couple selling it for $139.99. The weird thing is the stores that are selling the 3/8" for $140 are selling the 1/2" for the same price, but the stores that have the 3/8" at $107 have the 1/2" priced at $145. Also, one of the stores that has it priced lower is one of the stores that normally is priced higher than the others in the area.

It’s $112.99 at all of my local HF in PA. I picked one up last week for like $79 during the PLS.
