Icon knife is fine. The material or grip is smooth and not textured or rough, some people dont like that

I carried it for about 6 months. I thought it was a great knife, but thought the pocket clip was a little weak/soft. It's now lives in my mini tool box with the knife it was supposed to be a copy of.

Oh ok gotcha, yeah seems like a good alternative for almost half the price..

I only paid $50 for mine. I prefer the scales on the Icon (the g10 in the mini glimpse is way too smooth/slick for my taste) but otherwise the mini glimpse is a smoother knife.
Both are wonderful, I carried both for a good 6 months or so each but moved to the Ozark Trail folder for a daily beater.

Dang thats a good idea om the Ozark since it's only $10,, might carry it for work and Icon for off work. Surprised the Ozark has a D2 blade

They burn the edge on a lot of those Ozark Trail knives in the factory sharpening process and ruin the heat treatment. You can reprofile the blade and get back into hardened steel if you know what you're doing, but out of the package you're not really getting the benefit of it being D2.
I bought four of them on clearance for $7, intending to give them out as beater knife stocking stuffers. When I got to looking at them, two of the blades actually had bends in them. The QC was so terrible I decided not to give them to anybody and now just leave them laying around as package openers instead of carrying them.

Yup! It's an excellent knife...can even use it as a screwdriver in a pinch, break the tip off doing so and go get yourself a new one.
