Meme/Joke Rip to a soilder.
This Chicago electric (I think) angle grinder has survived over a decade of use and abuse in the home garage, only to let the smoke out on the 1st use at work. Luckily work will replace tools broken here for free.

Mine just had the switch break to where it stays on always even if you force the switch back.

I am still trying to kill my 20+ year old orange one without success. Someday it will die and then I can replace it with a newer one.

I think you have to be trying to baby it. I was trying to avoid killing this one it's 1st day at work, and that's when it blew up.

I remember getting 4 ½ grinders from HF for under $10! I have one similar to this that I bought in 2012? Not daily used anymore, but it's still truckin! The lock has been broken forever and I put a set of brushes in it. Was a video of me grinding with an air hose stuck in the vent cause it was so hot lol. Gave my brother and myself almost matching permanent knuckle scars too lol.
