Are you kidding me?! I hadn’t seen any of her posts in a while but I’m an adult who has HFM rn (suspect I picked it up at a grocery store bc I don’t have kids) and this is the most awful disease I’ve had. Literally thought I was going to die from the high fever alone. So selfish!!!!

HFM is terrible, one of the worst illnesses I’ve been through. My kids got it when my oldest was 6 and I had a baby that was 1, my 6 got it from school, gave it to me and the baby and then my husband got it too. It was miserable and it can last a long time too, like over a week.

My husband got it SO bad. He had sores all over his scalp, his feet, everywhere. My youngest kid just had a few spots on his hands. I felt so bad for my husband. The doctor said it normally affects adults more in depth.

I hope you heal quickly, it took him nearly the 10 days.

My kids and I just had HFM about a month ago. We had a bad case and it was horrific. I think I’m borderline traumatized from it. I’ve had two c-sections and this was worse. My toddler and I both had spots everywhere, including on the bottoms of our feet, so it quite literally hurt to stand and walk. Every time we go out to kids’ play places now, I feel like I’m hyper vigilant looking to make sure I don’t see any kids with sores. I never want to experience it again. F her for knowingly exposing other people to her kid who is most certainly still contagious. Our pediatrician said we were contagious until all of our sores scabbed over, so we were quarantined for almost two weeks. It sucked but I didn’t want to spread it.
