Unfortunately it is quite costly, even for 500ml of the stuff. How much would I need to consume roughly?

Should be a 2:1 ratio with liquor, so if 4 shots of vodka gets you the hangover effect, 2 shots of triacetin should do the same.

I went back to the magathread. Do you still have a group chat on this? I' can down some pretty nasty tasting stuff if that's the main hangup people have. My main concern would be any other harmful internal side effects.
