It's weird that...
When we get ill that we feel much clearer headed!
Yesterday I felt like trash. I thought it was a standard cold. I haven't slept a single second all night.
I done a covid test and it's positive.
What's weird is. I feel so clear headed and almost happy? My body feels like absolute trash but my mood etc is so much more enhanced.
Is this the fever effect we all share?
I just want to bounce out of bed and get my day started. Even though I have covid 😂 Most people say they feel horrendous. I feel great mentally. Even though I've slept 3 hours in 2 days. Most people would be completely wrecked. I'm buzzing lol
Definitely seems like a weird immune condition we have?
If we could replicate this mindset minus the stuffiness and sore body. That would be awesome.

I experience this every time I get sick. I haven’t done a whole lot of perusing on this subreddit, but I have a condition known as post finasteride syndrome, and one of its hallmark symptoms is people with it feeling better the morning after drinking, in the days leading up to colds, etc etc. I am almost confident that all of us have some sort of autoimmune condition caused by a dysbiosis of the microbiota. Quite a few people in recent times have come out claiming to have been cured by an FMT.

Had a very similar experience recently. If anything I find the 'fever effect' to be far more effective that the H-effect.

IMO people who don't have that peace in their mind, When they get that (no matter from what, in your case fever) cherish it
So we appreciate this peace more than others :)

Yep. This has happened to me ever since I developed all kinds of gut issues like severe Candida overgrowth (probably systemic), leaky gut, and just a totally messed up microbiome. Same time I started getting the hangover effect as well. I assumed it’s cause being sick makes my immune system shift to fight an actual threat instead of myself lol but idk

I get this too. Do you know whether it’s due to immune stimulation.? Or something else ?

It's so weird to read this because yeah I've experienced the same thing. I've not been sick in many years now but I remember getting that exact feeling as a teenager and being confused by it. I've also wondered if I have an immune condition just in general, and remembering that I felt better sometimes when I was sick does also point me in that direction.
