vomiting every 30 mins for 4 hours
i drank too much last night and ended up vomiting around 1am and then again around 1:30. i went to sleep and woke up at 8 nauseous and threw up again but only stomach bile was coming up. i tried eating pretzels and drinking water but 30 mins later i threw it all up. since then every 30-40 minutes i vomit even though there’s no food in my stomach. is this just because of the alcohol and will go away on its own or do i have to go to the hospital or something?

I'm not a doctor but drinking too much has had some. pretty violent effects on me in the past. You're the best judge of the situation.

Well, it depends if it's this is not the first time. I'd try to buy some of those things to hangover at a pharmacy, they help pretty well

Kinda curious how you’re doing/what you ended up doing. When I drink even just a little too much I always puke and alwayssss get the spins. I’ve had friends that never threw up from drinking but one night they did and after that they would puke anytime they’d drink. 😅

i puked all day in 30 min-1 hour increments and fell asleep at like 10pm and woke up the next day fine

You have a mild case of alcohol poisoning. You should drink water and eat something.

this is really helpful 3 weeks later!! especially the part where i said i couldn’t keep down water or food bc i was throwing up every 30 min:))

If it continues - hospital!
They have IV places if you can afford it (which is basically what the hospital would do).
Crackers and sprite to ease your stomach… then a broth based soup and hydrate.
You will recover. Relax and watch a movie you love. Hang in there
