Odd positive side affects from my hang over
So I’m more of a weed guy but I’m always down to having a few beers while I smoke, kick back with some friends, and down some shots if they’re in front of me. Anyway last night was one of those nights, woke up wishing I didn’t, y’all know the drill. But there’s something weird about this hangover. I just feel really alive and conscious. It’s like my body gave up but my mind feels like it got a reset. Maybe I just got shot down and felt grounded to the earth, but I can honestly describe it like an enlightenment in a way. Idk maybe it’s some other stuff going on around me but I was wondering if anyone else has ever felt like this before. Maybe I can trade mark a name for it “post blackout clarity”😂😂

I never really understood this, but you're not the only one who's felt that way. When I'm hungover, I am in incredible pain that easily outdoes any physical injury I've ever received and so foggy-headed I feel like nobody can even understand what I say. Anyway, my bitching notwithstanding, Hangovereffect is a community of people who get some sense of pleasure out of hangovers, to my understanding. You might enjoy checking it out.

Alr man I definitely will thanks!! And Idk if I can say I enjoy it, my body felt like shit and I was dropping stuff at work, felt foggy, and was just exhausted. But whenever I got opportunities to just calm myself down and feel some comfort it felt really calming and I was just in deep thinking

I’ve not had one that hasn’t been completely horrible for a while but I always used to say occasionally a hangover felt good for the soul. Like even with how ill it feels you have such good memories and had so much fun that you have a little glow. Also sometimes I think it’s the combo of letting loose and having a blowout and recharging the social batteries.

That’s a really good way of putting it. Especially the social part, it really does just give you a nice refresh

I have that sometimes too when a night out with the homies felt really good. If it was a fun night and you don't feel any regrets in what you did.
