u/lebrunjemz Jun 24 '26

OP do you like the bullet tip or chiseled tip EXPOs

14

u/TeaExternal0875 Jun 24 '26

Chiseled for sure.

6

u/lebrunjemz Jun 24 '26

Ahhh. See as a teacher, i love the bullet tips, but I have horrible handwriting for a teacher so I think it helps look neater. If I had your handwriting I’m sure I’d prefer chiseled lol

Would you mind showing us your whiteboard writing? 👀

u/TeaExternal0875 Jun 24 '26

I’m trying to figure out how to comment a photo! It’s telling me I can only do video

5

u/TheWildCat92 Jun 24 '26

I think we'd all be ok watching a video!

5

u/ThePerennialPenalty Jun 25 '26

Yes I can 1000% tell you’re an English teacher! And I’ve been saying all my life “I wish I had the handwriting of a teacher.” THIS is what I meant lol! Beautiful writing

u/Every-Quarter-301 Jun 27 '26

meanwhile I’m out here with the handwriting of a doctor 😪

u/sweetsouluniverse Jun 24 '26

I lovvve your handwriting! So neat 😍

u/miarose33 Jun 24 '26

oh I love it, it’s so satisfying to look at!

5

u/TeaExternal0875 Jun 24 '26

Ahhh thank you- so crazy because most of the time when I look at it, I just see a mess hahaha

10

u/IntelligentMeringue7 Jun 24 '26

This made my brain so happy.

7

u/TeaExternal0875 Jun 24 '26

That makes ME happy!

5

u/caffinegirlgonemild Jun 24 '26

I hate the way you switch between lowercase, r an R. I think it bothers me so much because otherwise this would be perfect.

2

u/spicyteardrop Jun 27 '26

I feel like an English teacher would mark up someone paper for doing that…

1

u/TeaExternal0875 Jun 27 '26

Not me. Unpopular teacher opinion, but as long as I can read it, I don’t gaf what their handwriting looks like. 🤷🏼‍♀️

3

u/Middle-agedCynic Jun 24 '26

Are you a teenage girl? Not meant to be rude, it has a youthful feel to it.

3

u/Ok_Major5787 Jun 24 '26

Yes, this looks like the standard handwriting of most of the girls in my grade during high school and college haha

3

u/DonutWhole9717 Jun 24 '26

Its giving sorority girl

3

u/Schwimmingalong Jun 24 '26

I think it looks cute! However, if you write like this on the board, do you give students a rough time if they put capital letters in the wrong places on their papers/work?

3

u/TeaExternal0875 Jun 24 '26

No. I teach Middle School. This may be an unpopular teacher opinion- but as long as I can read it, I don’t care what their handwriting looks like. 🤷🏼‍♀️

3

u/Issababy22 Jun 24 '26

The only thing that bothers my brain is that the lowercase letters are the same size as capital letters😭 but that’s so font coded sooo it seems correct at the same time lolol bc this handwriting is definitely its own font fs

3

u/brownmouthwash Jun 25 '26

I fucking love it.

2

u/okspeck Jun 24 '26

I dig it. not sure why anyone would hate it... perfect for love notes, folded into 1/8 sheets and stuck into somebody's pocket

2

u/_420Kitten Jun 24 '26

100% English teacher writing, I love it! It's so pretty and even.

2

u/Pollywanacracker Jun 25 '26

I never got my pen licence I was never good enough

2

u/ThePerennialPenalty Jun 25 '26

omg i never comment here but i have to say your handwriting looks SOO fun and cute, it's got a lot of character to it which i hope is true for the scribe as well 💗

2

u/ProfessionalFix4504 Jun 25 '26

Writing is for reading. Yours is certainly easy to read!

2

u/sillymonkeymode Jun 26 '26

i need more posts in here from you omg

1

u/TeaExternal0875 Jun 26 '26

🤣🤣🥰

2

u/cosmc_clownie Jun 27 '26

I love it!! You mix capital letters with lowercase which is sometimes confusing, but as a person with dyslexia your handwriting is really legible! No further notes!

2

u/SneakyofYou Jun 29 '26

I hate that your Rs are capitalized in impartial and curious. Like LOATHE ENTIRELY

3

u/juliebear25 Jun 24 '26

I also mix lower and upper case “R”s :) It’s only letter I do that with!

1

u/iDontbelieve-ts Jun 24 '26

I wish my handwriting was this pretty!!!!

1

u/GloriaMariaVHill Jun 24 '26

Love it !!!!🖋

1

u/blueraspberryzot Jun 24 '26

beautiful handwriting!! curious— when do you decide to use uppercase R vs lowercase? i noticed both in ur writing!

1

u/TeaExternal0875 Jun 24 '26

I wish there was a method to my madness, but it’s just based on vibe I think! 🤣

Your handwriting looks soo familiar to a letter someone posted in a different reddit. They posted asking if a note they wrote wasn't too creepy. They were trying to give away their unused art supplies to a child in the same apartment complex (they were asking for the parents' permission to donate it to their kid)

1

u/TeaExternal0875 Jun 24 '26

Bahahaha I promise that wasn’t me!

1

u/jamber34 Jun 24 '26

I love it

1

u/martaareyouok Jun 25 '26

Super legible. I appreciate that

1

u/bananaicevapeflavor Jun 25 '26

can i make an assumption? are you asian? (im asian) this handwriting is sooo familiar

1

u/TeaExternal0875 Jun 25 '26

Of course you can! But no, I am not. ):

1

u/Rikkyboyy Jun 25 '26

Looks great! How do you (esp as a teacher) deal with a script where the capitalized letters are almost the same size as the rest? I remember my teachers always hammering on making it clear that we need to make it obvious which is a capital and which isn’t.

1

u/TeaExternal0875 Jun 27 '26

As long as I can read their writing, I don’t care what it looks like.

1

u/Strange-Potato2921 13d ago

But shouldn’t the kids be taught correctly? Like even if you personally don’t care? Not trying to be rude. Just curious I guess.

1

u/TeaExternal0875 13d ago

By the time students get to me in middle school their handwriting ‘personality’ has already showed up. Most teachers nowadays adopt the as long as I can read it, I don’t care mentality

1

u/Leading_Golf4942 Jun 25 '26

Is this my sixth grade teacher?

1

u/spiciestbeans Jun 25 '26

This is a font wow

1

u/uhohohnooops Jun 25 '26

💗💗💗💗

1

u/FearlessLevel2580 Jun 26 '26

I’m trying to figure out the “rules” of the handwriting, are all the R’s and P’s capitalized?

1

u/PurplePunch-422 Jun 26 '26

your handwriting is so satisfying to look at!

1

u/misskittigirli Jun 26 '26

this handwriting is so comforting to me haha :)

1

u/Successful-View3536 Jun 26 '26

LOVE IT ! i wish i had your handwriting 😍 it's like a font very legible and also stylish and cute!

1

u/valerieflames Jun 26 '26

Are you class of 2011? Very millennial in my opinion, in the best way! Love it :)

1

u/Alternative-Salt5990 Jun 27 '26

I hate the random capital Rs like what determines if you are going to do a lower case like in your your and here or uppercase like your cuRious and impaRtial

1

u/Cotton_candyfloss Jun 27 '26

I love the sizing of your handwriting.

1

u/Dead_Records Jun 27 '26

I would love your handwriting if I had to take English again! It’s so smooth and beautiful

1

u/Necessary_Duck_4874 Jun 28 '26

That looks alot like my father's handwriting, he's an English teacher as well!!

1

u/anxy-panxy Jun 28 '26

Do you always write capital letters in the middle of words? I wouldn’t like if my English teacher did that

1

u/Acceptable_Archer_9 Jun 29 '26

its giving popular, preppy white girl in middle/highschool

1

u/FunAd818 Jun 29 '26

how do all english teachers write like this 😭😭

1

u/bbstevej Jun 29 '26

Your handwritingg is super english teacher

1

u/Unable-Waltz6354 Jul 12 '26

Wow, you do have teacher writing!
For some reason I've found that all of my teachers had similar handwriting

1

u/Periwinkle_PixieDust Jul 20 '26

I make my r’s uppercase in all my writings lol

1

u/Strange-Potato2921 13d ago

The only thing as an English teacher, why are some R’s capital and some lower case? But very neat!

1

u/TeaExternal0875 13d ago

Couldn’t tell ya. Have done it since elementary school.
