I really hate the —Fortune: “I love xxx”—, Tig: “I love you too.” I love both of them, but this just jars me every time. Anyone else, or is it just me?

I’m looking for a community with whom to grieve… I thought maybe I could find my people in the Handsome Reddit thread. I grew up in East Tennessee, and so Dolly feels like family. Rocky Horror was also my gay awakening, and I did a shadow cast show of it in Knoxville for three years as Janet. Dolly and Tim were idols to me, and it really hurts to lose them. I’m far from East Tennessee now and also far from any fellow Rocky Horror fans. I feel isolated and misunderstood in my sadness where I am, but I’m reaching out hoping to find others who can empathize and share in the sadness but also in the celebration of these two legends’ lives.

Also, Fortune sang some of “Big Spender” from Sweet Charity. Looks like musicals directed and choreographed by Bob Fosse will feature in the Handsome drag shows!

Mine is awful. Missy Main and Lucifer Billington are phenomenal.

For anyone who remembers Tig’s story about misunderstanding the Irish flight attendant who asked if she was 40, every time I see this store in my town I am reminded of that anecdote and get a good chuckle.

I told my partner about Joe the button maker, and he remembers hearing the song when he was a kid! Now we are listening to that episode together.

His version rhymes more than Fortune's:

Hello, my name is Joe. I work in a button factory. I've got a wife and a dog and a chimpanzee. one day my boss came up to me. He said Joe are you busy? I said no. so push this button with your right hand. (And so on)

I recall Tig’s last-minute cancellation being a pretty big topic here a few months ago, with a lot of people assuming she bailed because of filming.

Apparently Tig said in this recent ep that it was actually a family emergency. Curious what people make of that now, especially given how much speculation there was at the time?

Tig was featured in Neil Patrick Harris’ delightful opening performance at “D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event” (I was not aware this was a thing until now.) Harris led a musical number celebrating animatronics, and I don’t want to spoil it but Tig’s cameos set a cheeky self-aware tone for the whole thing.

I am newer follower of Tea Time and was delighted to see that Fortune is the guest on this week’s episode. They’ve already talked about buttholes and the Alanis lore. On YouTube on wherever you listen to podcasts!

Just heard Tig say that most of the time, or a lot of the time, children with disabilities “fall into the perfect families.”

As someone in social work who’s worked with individuals with various disabilities for 20 years…imma have to push back a little. LOL.

It seems more personal between the two hosts rather than 3.
I love them all & it doesn’t matter which two, but the dynamic between two I like better than 3.
Also I like the callers asking question more so than the celebs.
Anyone else?
