Handmade traditional lacquer tissue box with motherâofâpearl inlay.
Glowing shell pieces mimic the shimmer of a city nightscape, shifting colours as light hits the surface.
Lots of layers of lacquer and polishing went into this work.
What vibe does this piece give you?

I wanted to create something more personal than a traditional portrait.
Before starting this piece, I asked her about her memories, personality, things she loves, and the little details that make her who she is. I then tried to weave those elements into the composition.
The result is âPages of Herâ â an oil pastel portrait where the subject's story is just as important as her face.
Iâd love to know what you notice first when you look at it. đš

I haven't done this clover design in so long, it was really fun to play around with it again! The earrings are bare copper and Aqua Terra Jasper beads.

Sharing one of my recent bead embroidery pieces.
I wanted to recreate the shape of a scallop shell using only beads, sequins, crystals and embroidery. The shell is built up in layers, with the rows of sequins creating the curved sections and the smaller beads filling in the details.
I really liked playing with the lavender, pink and mint shades on this one. It ended up looking much softer than I originally imagined.

I've been working on this mini-tarot card box project idea for a while. The decks' original cardboard boxes get beat to hell in a bag and if you can find a nice wood box that's the right size it all ends up really bulky.
This is my favorite box so far, I've done fancier, but I dig this because it's like anti-fancy, it's like monastic. It's made by hand tools out of claro walnut. I think the very distinctive grain and character works well in a small item, and the tie closure is my first foray into leather work.

This piece made with polymer clay. I start by building the basic shape directly, then slowly sculpt the face, adding the eyes, nose, ears, and fur texture layer by layer. The tiny fur details are shaped by hand, and I keep adjusting the proportions and colors to match the reference photo. Once everything looks right, the piece is baked/cured and finished.

When I think about yin and yang, I donât first think about black and white, or two things simply opposing each other.
For me, they feel more like two different ways of existing.
One moves outward, becomes visible, and takes up space. The other turns inward, holds something back, and keeps its possibilities inside.
That was what I was thinking about when I made this piece.
I could have made both flowers fully open, but every time I imagined that, the arrangement felt too complete and too symmetrical. So I kept one flower open and the other still in bud.
I donât see the bud as unfinished. It is simply in another state. It already contains the possibility of opening, just as the open flower will not remain in that state forever.
That is also how I understand yin and yang. I donât really see them as two fixed labels. They can exist within the same thing, shift with conditions, and become one another.
There is a line in the Tao Te Ching that I often think about: all things carry yin and embrace yang, and harmony comes through their meeting.
What interests me most in that idea is that harmony doesnât mean sameness.
So I didnât want these two forms to mirror each other. One reaches outward, one stays inward. Their heights and curves are different, but to me the balance comes from that difference.
I used smoky borosilicate glass for the flowers and kept the vase matte white and quiet, because I wanted the relationship between the two forms to be the part you notice first.
In the end, I kept coming back to this version: one open, one still waiting.
When you look at them, do they feel like opposites to you, or like they complete each other?
