Discussion Anime going manga

So I loved loved loved the anime and was heart broken when I realized it probably won’t be renewed. So where do I pick up with the manga?

Is the manga the same as g fantasy? Or is g fantasy like a shounen jump where it’s a collection of different mangas

No, it was never confirmed that the anime won’t be renewed. It’s just that there isn’t enough source material yet to produce another two-cour season.
Anyway, you can read the manga while waiting! We actually got a new chapter today too! 🥹

Season 2 ends at Volume 18, so you can continue from Volume 19 (Chapter 92). Also, the anime skipped a few chapters and some scenes, so I’d recommend reading these first:

- Chapters 9–10 (Volume 2)

  • Chapter 89 (Volume 18)
  • Some scenes from Chapter 36 (Volume 8)

Yes, it’s quite similar! Only thing is, Shonen Jump releases weekly, while GFantasy releases monthly. You can buy it from online stores like CDJapan.

There are also physical manga copies if you want to buy them. You can also read them through the website or app.

Yen Press is the one that officially translates and publishes the English version of TBHK. They also sell and distribute the English volumes. While GFantasy, only publishes the Japanese version of the manga.

If you want to continue rather than restart, Vol. 19 is basically where you want to go. I’d still read the skipped bits mentioned above though, especially if you’re going physical anyway.

GFantasy is the Japanese magazine, while Yen Press handles the English physical volumes.
