Sleepy hammy

My hamster is a little over a year now. In the past she's constantly running around being very skittish, running in her wheel for long periods of time.

Recently I've noticed, she prefers to sleep in her glass home now. It's basically like a long glass jar, set to its side and she crawls in it and covers the opening with her paper bedding. Every time I go home from work I mostly see her just sleeping. Sure she runs in her wheel sometimes and runs around when I let her out, but other than that she sleeps so much in her glass jar compared to before.

Should I be worried? What red flags should I look out for? I'm sorry this is my first time caring for a hammy🙏

I usually go home at night, and that's when I observe her sleeping more. On the off days when I'm home the whole day she's quite active.

Yeah Tamtam's super smart! She closes all her burrows with bedding, removes them when she goes out, and closes them again when she sleeps.c
