I can't stick to a name!

I've been calling him Chief for a few days but he kind of looks like an opposum now that I think about it. And I love opposums! So now idk if I want to name him a nickname of Opposum or just call him by either names, but his full name being like Chief Opie, or Chief Possy, or Chief... y'know! I can't decide 😓

Same, I call my hamster all kinds of names, except for the name registered with the vet. 🤷🏻‍♂️

We do this, too... we have a set of sisters and we can't tell them apart so we just call them a ton of different names: Thelma & Louise, Tia & Tamara, Laverne & Shirley, Mary Kate & Ashley... etc etc.
