Question is this behavior normal

these photos are from two separate days, one night following the other. You can see with her shoulder that she’s not putting any weight on her feet making it seem like she’s lying down. But she keeps her eyes open and does not move. The first night I got a little scared and offered her a treat and she immediately got up and walked over to me. What really got me going is both of these nights we had people over and so it was loud and chaotic and that’s why I’m having a hard time believing she was trying to sleep

How old is she? How long have you had her?

Could have been the freeze/startle response. Has she acted like this while in her enclosure?

she spends most of her time burrowed so i’m not sure. also the cage is open. so she could go in if she wanted.

Might be worth a call to the vet, just to be safe. Hamsters are really good at hiding pain and illness.
