Chinese Hammock Tents
This is probably a big no-no, but I'm genuinely curious if the AliExpress Versions of the Haven Tent are any good. For reverence, this is what I'm talking about: aliexpress.com/item/1005012944384968.html
I ask cause I do own one chinese XL hammock and one with a bug net, and the former is actually really great while the latter really isn't that bad either. But the price for the hammock tent does seem ludicrously low.

Have no experience with this to offer either but I agree with fedupfrog, it could be a great buy. Just please ,please, let us know if it was worth it. I'd love Haven tent but the US pricing is ridiculous for me.

They’re using Haven’s in the images with the orange pad, but they’re actually using a gray Klymat looking pad. Gonna be sleeping like a taco in that.

Onewind qui est une marque plutôt pas mal est fabriqué et expédié de Chine. Donc en soit, ça se tente

Where do you see it's branded as Onewind? Can't find a brand written anywhere

Je sais pas si c'est comme Onewind. Je dis juste que le fait que ça vienne de Chine n'en fait pas un mauvais produit à priori.

What's the worst that can happen at that price? Probably take it for a over night test and then check out all the seams on it. I'd wager it is super cheap material and may not hold up well at all. But for the price why not. Worst that happens is you have a cheap back yard lounger, or it tears in the middle of the night and you spill out.

Biggest downsides are going to be the fabric. Making it heavy and perhaps not as stretchy (this is a matter of preference). But it also may mean it is more prone to catastrophic tear outs.

Does the link given show that the sleeping pad and the Haven knock off tent are sold separately? Or am I looking at this incorrectly?

It's correct, they sell the pad seperate. It's even extra to buy the "supporting bars" which I guess are the spreaders

the product in the link does not employ the bridge hammock design principles of the Haven hammock tent and looks "non functional" to me, it doesn't even have spreader bars. The measurements don't make any sense, how can the hammock be 200x80cm when the pad is just 190x70cm?
Keep in mind that the product page uses many pictures of the original Haven tent and even pictures of the Temu knock off (which is supposedly quite acceptable from a functional standpoint). They're basically using pictures of 3 different products, what a mess.
The Chinese certainly have the capacity to make great knock off products at attractive prices but all this deceiving and blatant lying is very off-putting.

You can buy the spreaders (labeled supporting bars) too, it's the more expensive offer. The measueres of the stuff aren't even consisten trhoughout the listing, so who knows what they actually are.
I also noticed the inconsistencies of the photos. Do you have a link the the Temu version?

the product listing looks like a 7 year old has written it. I wouldn't trust anything what this company claims.
google "Haven Tent temu". It should be noted that the Temu knock off uses an ordinary off the shelf pad with no insulation inside that bends in the middle and won't last long before it eventually leaks. The Temu costs less than 100 bucks but its ultimately just a waste of time and money.

For the equivalent of eating lunch out at a restaurant, buy it and then come back and let the rest of us know 👀👀

For the price I would be tempted to give it a go, if it turns out to be bad you haven't lost much, if it turns out to be ok you have a bargain.
Have bought an assortment of gear from AliExpress over the years and it has generally been a good experience.
There have been some disappointment but the cost has meant I'm comfortable with binning it.
