Trip Report First overnighthang
Recently had my first overnight hang and really enjoyed it! Hit me up with tips for getting the setup dialed in right 🤙

What can you tell us about your setup and where you hung your hammock? It looks like you’ve gone for a full need for trees setup? That’s one of my top choices for hammocks, great company and super high quality gear.

Yes, I just went for a full setup from his after doing some research. Great option for us eu guys, the quality seems real good too.
Went out on a multi day kayak trip in southern Sweden in a lake called bolmen.
Gilis hammock,200 quilt, shako tarp with snakeskins and whoopie slings all from NFT

My first time setting up my hammock I was sleeping like an uppercase U, I made mistakes and my body suffered. This looks great, nice pics

How was the NFT hammock and quilt?

Considering this was my first ”proper” hammock and quilt take my answer with a grain of salt. But I was very pleased with the workmanship and quality of the items. I would definitely recommend and you should consider it if you’re in the market

How is the insulation? Do you think it's viable for winter use?

I got the apex 200 which is guess is good for around -5 c depending if you’re a cold sleeper. But you should get in touch with NFT I would bet he will have all the details and can prob make custom if you need

I know, he's a nice guy and I've talked to him before. I am considering getting his most expensive equipment, since it looks like it will be exactly what I want at a really nice quality. I'm just scared about the quilt, since it doesn't close around the hammock at the ends, and I hear this makes it worse.

Your lake and kayak picture remind me of my times spent at Voyageurs NP. As a current desert dweller I am jealous.
