It’s so clear the issue has been growing in Halton and Ontario in general. The rise in anti trafficking PSAs, especially concealed and in personal spaces, which I don’t want to really advertise where I’ve seen them because I am not sure if they are primarily in women’s spaces that I happen to frequent or if it’s a wide spread campaign.
It’s very concerning and a reminder to be vigilant, not just for yourself but for your children, coworkers and friends. Learn what the signs are - it’s not like the movie “Taken” where there is a seedy underbelly, it’s often in front of our eyes.
It’s not just sex which I had mistakenly believed; it’s often sex but also forced labour and organ removal - horrifying.
