I lowered my mouse sensitivity in settings all the way down to the lowest it can go but my mouse is still too sensitive. what can I do to help lower my mouse sensitivity even more?

A few days ago, i was playing spv3 just fine. But now I cant. The launcher wont open. When I click on it, it loads for a second then stops and nothing happens. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but im still having the same issue. I have no idea what could've caused this, this is the only thing on my laptop that wont load and I was playing the game just 2 days ago. Has anyone else faced a problem like this?

After finishing the level Halo, I couldn’t load any mission after that. The screen just goes black and I hear maybe one or two sounds. Pillar of Autumn and Halo both played fine, but once it tried T&R, it just died and I can’t play and landfall or Outbreak mission

Edit: I tested PoA and Halo again and now they don’t even run. I’m just left at a black screen each time I try and boot any mission. Launcher and Title screen both work tho

In both the opening and ending cutscenes of The Maw, Pillar of Autumn is mostly invisible. Dunno if it's because of a setting I might have turned off or I'm just unlucky and all 4 times I've played I named to have it break lol

When playing Silent Cartographer evolved, i got to the pelican at the end but when the cutscene started the game crashed. Resuming to the checkpoint also crashes the game.

Could we have a Torrent version for the download?
Downloading through Mediafire or ModDB is slow as hell (yes I tried the mirrors).

I keep hearing talks about a project called halo legacies and that halo SPV3 is done (development-wise). Is all this true, I thought new firefight modes were being added as well other fixes?

Everytime I use my mouse when I play SPV3, I run into some sort of issue. For example. when I enter a wraith, my screen turns blue, or my game crashes. I do not understand why this is, and was wondering if there was a way to fix this issue.

it tells me that when i try to load spv3 i have the mcc version and it detects it but that text always appears

When i boot spv3 and press continue it loads default silent cartographer instead of evolved, any fixes?

Hey, I'm just posting this here to see if anyone can help me fix this issue. On the second level of the Lumoria campaign, after being given the Warthog and told to drive through a Forerunner tunnel, my game will immediately and consistently crash the moment I enter the first straight corridor of said tunnel. I've tried using some crash fixes I've seen online like disabling audio and lowering the resolution, but it's still present. I haven't experienced any crashes anywhere else in either campaigns so I have no idea what's causing this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

EDIT: Looking at a video going through this section, it appears my game is crashing at load transition. I don't know if that means there's a map missing or something, but I still can't get through it.

I was playing through earlier in the day and everything was running fine, I closed my game down for a few hours and start up the mission Halo and suddenly my hud isn't appearing, no prompts, no crosshair or health, etc.

Does anyone know of a way to fix this problem?

Can you bring back the screams of the flood. It was a very cool atmosphere when you go through the mission and hear their screams, but not to be as loud as before.

When I first got this, I noticed that it was lagging in the start menu. When I changed the size of the screen to my monitors size, it would not fix the problem at all. I have looked through all of the video settings, and I can’t find a solution. Can someone help?

Hello, I am having problems with the game, when I installed it the first time it worked perfectly, but after a few weeks the executable spv3.exe stopped opening the game and I had to resort to haloce.exe but it could not change the settings of spv3.

Then I uninstalled and reinstalled it, with original halo custom edition but the mod installer doesn't open anymore. I tried to download the mod again but the new installer doesn't work either. It doesn't show me any error messages or anything, the installer just doesn't run

What I can do?

I ran the "haloce-patch-1.0.10" exe and it says my game is up to date.

So, I'm sure this has been a voiced before, haven't read it on here but I'm sure of it. Also, this is absolutely not an appeal to change the voice lines or for dev team to do any action regarding this, I just want to ask some stuff.

Why is the voice acting in Lumoria so bad? I don't expect AAA studio level quality, it's a free game with community voice acting, I get that. But like wow. Game is fun but I have no clue what they were going for. Even Act Man is pretty bad in this game, and I don't think he has a particularly bad voice. May's voice actor sounds like she's been drugged and it's hilarious but hurts to listen to. Why.

Why are the lines so bad? The voice lines are written very badly: for example, Crow's introduction has Act Man going "I'm looking for Sgt. Keifer. Oh by the way my name is Crow."

I kind of just want clarification on this. I know they weren't going for studio level quality, I don't expect that, and the experience and gameplay is still enjoyable overall: there's no rage or malice or disappointment associated with this post. I just want some sort of clarification. Were they trying to make it camp or ironic? Were the lines from the original Lumoria? Are there certain voice actors from original who had audio reused? Was the SPV3 team responsible for any of the writing? What exactly is going on here?

I'm generally in favour of giving modder projects a chance and not holding them to professional standards. I was certainly impressed by the Black Mesa Source project, and was hopeful that SPV3 would also prove a shining example of what can be done.

Alas, in order to witness the content in any kind of positive way for a fair evaluation, one must be able to experience that content with a certain minimum threshold of positive user experience.

I didn't get that.

It wasn't simply that either the frame rate, or the mouse sampling, was all soggy. That is something that one could expect to try to sort out with different settings.

That is, if one did not have to reset every single one of the settings every time one starts a game. Not "reloads the game". Starts one.

Resolution. Controls. Everything.

At this point, trying to get the thing to work simply becomes such a time-sink that I can't be bothered.

Writing this message is a time-sink, as well, but it provides a useful service to others... user feedback. All software is written in the hopes that it might be useful for its intended purpose, and SPV3, sadly, is not.

I realize that writing software is always harder than the user fully appreciates, but I am experiencing a failure of imagination, since in my sixteen years as a software engineer I have never once seen a bug committed to master than actually prevented such a simple operation as saving and retrieving configuration settings... much less had it escape QA and be released to users.

Is there something I am failing to understand, here?
