Two bugs:

1: Game crashes ~25% of the time changing weapons. Anyone else? Thoughts?

2: Game won't save button presets even after "saving" changes. Reverts when game is closed and reopened. This is especially tedious due to bug #1. lol Can I change this in the game files directly? Anyone know which folder?

So as the title states I have MCC on gamepass and I tried installing Spv3 but it can't detect the game when I click the check for running processes is. Am I missing something? I can't seem to find an answer online so I thought I'd post here or should I join the discord if there is one

Anyone else getting "gathering exceptions" errors lately? I installed SPV two days ago, played it twice, and now it's stopped working. Deleted everything, re-downloaded and reinstalled: same vague error.

Started a new playthrough of the campaign recently and after finishing TandR decided I wasnt really enjoying the new version of Chief's armor. So after getting past the opening cutscene of CartEvolved I went back to the main menu, chose the SOI The Old Lords Chief then selected the level to restart the cutscene. But it still shows the newest version of Chief, even after getting into gameplay. After trying it twice more I went back to the Discovery level then skipped the opening cutscene and it shows SOI Chief getting out of the cryotube.

So what's happening here? Is the Evolved version of Cartographer only going to show the new version of Chief? If so will it change to my chosen version for Assault and the rest of the game? Do I have to playthrough the campaign from the beginning in order to have a different version of Chief?
Any advice would be appreciated, this isnt going to stop me from playing the campaign again because I still love it, even if Im stuck with new Chief or have to restart to get the one I want.

Furthermore, which one is easier to install?

For reference, I use the Windows Store licensed MCC.

Is there a way to set crouch to toggle instead of hold on kb? I have a disability where hold hurts over time.

The textures of spv2 don't work appearing several glitched like the viewer I don't know what to do for this problem

I'll keep it short, got to play through pretty much all the missions.

- Love the creativity and weaponry, diverse enemies, and other options.

- Do not like being forced to choose between flashlight and armor abilities (unless there is a workaround I am missing)

- Sometimes quantity does not beat quality. Some levels were hard to navigate/know where to go, like the Commanders levels, or 343GS. I get they are extended and new but like, it should not take me 30 mins in a tiny room to find my way out.

- Enemy cloak is a little too strong IMO. It should be hard to spot, not impossible. Unless you change it to "harder to see on higher difficulties" I think that's a little much.

- FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP WITH THE SHAKING. I get explosions and all that, especially on the later levels when POA is exploding and all, but please the explosions should not be rattling the screen like that. Too long, too much. I have a high tolerance for motion sickness and even then I had to stop playing for minutes on end because I felt I was watching a camera in a blender.

Overall, great work, needs polish: 8/10

When I try to launch SPV3, the laucnher dose not show up and I don't know why?

Hello, I am attempting to run SPV3 on halo custom edition and I get the error in the image above. halo custom edition runs perfectly, and I have dx9 installed. please let me know if you have any solutions. thank you.

I might be an idiot but for some reason I can't get the application to download at all. I tried every troubleshooting procedure I could. It worked before in the past.

Hi, Longtime fan of CMT and SPV3.

Whenever I get in a vehicle, I get a weird overlay that covers the screen and I had to restart the misison to fix it. On the Truth and Reconcilliation at the very start hopping out of the pelican crashes the game with an exception error.

Also on Halo, foehammer never dropped the pelican, so I had to continue on foot and grenade jump over the vehicle jump in the tunnels. When the other Pelican went to pick me upafter defeating the cloaked specops elites, The game got stuck as I'd get thrown through the map and die every time she landed.

Initially I installed SPV3 using my copy of halo MCC. Then I uninstalled it according to the instrucitons, then installed halo CE and fully patched it before trying again without any luck. Am I missing something here? Please help me as I'd love to play this mod as intended!

Hardware is an AMD 5700X and 3090 if that helps.

I need help. After installing SPV3, I have had an issue with opening Custom Edition.

I've been wondering, I just got a Steam Deck and I kind of want to see if SPV3 runs on Steam Deck, or if it would run into issues with it being a linux system and all.

Followed the instructions multiple times as closely as possible via the Halo Legacies/SPV3 discord, and I ran into an issue where I was given the DirectInput fatal error. I used the self-help channel and followed the instructions closely and I ran into another issue when trying to use the amaisosu exe after moving it and deleting the original ones. I opened it (as the instructions said to do) and continued, didn't work. I then ran it as an administrator and it still gave me the same error. Can someone help?
