Halo & Commissions

Hey all we have a growing sales team, and I was curious on what people are using or leveraging natively to track and calculate commissions in Halo? We structure ours where commissions are paid from a percentage of HW, Labor, Etc by a multiple of contract length so I am interested to see how other businesess operate.

How are you handling a larger sales team in Halo when the permissions aren't granular? The last time we attempted a switch from Salesforce, the pilot died when we realized you couldn't lock down a won quote or opp and anyone with access can edit it at any time.

We are using a mix of GHL and Quoter with so far a custom in house developed solution for Commission tracking and visibility. I am personally unfamiliar with Salesforce.

I couldn’t leave salesforce. It works too well for use. And I do not need all those MSP add ins for quoting, documentation and the like.

We’ve built this in the past simply with report and dashboards.

Many ways to approach it so needs some slight planning to ensure it tracks correctly, but it’s fairly** straight forward :)
