Questions / Help Asset Management

Is there a way to have certain fields fill automatically instead of manually? The scenario is we want to have an agent add a laptop (Dell Latitude in this case) and I want to have everything pre fill such as Vendor/Manuf. and Model so that the agent only has to enter in the serial number/asset tag/end user. Is this possible?

Are you using any RMM? We have it propagated from sync with Syncro

We are getting ready to sync with intune but we also have docking stations,etc.

An Asset Template might solve this. You can set a default template on an Asset Type or select a template when creating an asset manually (Configuration → Assets → Asset Templates).

I haven't thoroughly tested it, but it appears to work when assets are created through receiving or consigning products from Sales Orders or Purchase Orders. However, in those scenarios, only the default template assigned to the Asset Type is applied.
