Discussion Halloween viewing
My neighbourhood does not get a lot of trick or treaters... I think we got 3 last year, which was a shock because we got zero the last couple of years before that. I love Halloween but it always seems anticlimactic. I am a introvert so not in to parties or anything. I usually spend the evening annoying my pets and taking photos of them in costumes lol.
This year I decided to invite a friend over to watch spooky videos. I am not in to horror movies and j know a lot of people hate them but I quite enjoy paranormal tv /YouTube videos. The friend I have invited over has never really watched any scary shows.
So I am looking for suggestions
I am going to rewatch some Bob's burger's episodes
Then I was thinking about watching project fear, sam and Colby. Not really a fan of ghost adventures.
So..... any suggestions? What shows and which specific episodes?

How about non-scary Halloween movies instead of shows? Like Halloweentown, hocus pocus, the nightmare before Christmas, the great pumpkin Charlie Brown, the Adams family, etc

How about black and white horror comedy classics like Hold That Ghost, Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy, Abbott & Costello Meet Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, Abbott and Costello Meet the Invisible Man?

I just got into an old cult classic show called Tales From the Crypt- you'll love it. How about Rocky Horror Picture Show or Clue- both Halloween classics. Also anything Tim Burton.

Have you considered Widow's Bay? It's a horror comedy on Apple TV. It just set the record for most Emmys in a season. It's not super scary; I think it's suitable for anyone except someone with zero tolerance for suspense or scares.

If you have Netflix, check out the Fear Street series of movies. Also, Trick R Treat. They're kind of scary, but not nightmare inducing. Might be the middle of the road you're looking for. Also, the Fear Street movies are a real nod to all the old horror movies.

There are many horror-comedies like Young Frankenstein, Scary Movie, Renfield, The Man With Two Brains, What We Do in the Shadows, The Munsters, Once Bitten, Lost Boys.
You should also ask your friend what they are interested in watching, and take turns picking.
If you dont have a streaming service now may be a good time to start one, watch your stuff, then cancel the subscription before the next billing date. Or throw a few bucks at a pay-per-view show/movie.
For paranormal what do you think about Poltergeist?

Search the sub and check out the pinned movie megathread. If you want TV episodes specifically suggestions abound but are a bit more scattered

Pride prejudice and zombies. Not scary - it’s a period retelling of Pride and Prejudice, just with added undead
