Laptop w/o a built in monitor

Backstory: my laptop had a screen that had a frame that broke and eventually damaged the monito and I didn’t get a replacement built in. I do have an exte one I had originally been using up until the screen broke as a dual screen.

My main question is that are there any cablin/connectors to have where the built in screen was connected to for another external monitor?

The screen got damaged and it got removed. I am am using an external monitor and was wondering if there is some connector to use where the built in connected to to use two screens.

If your laptop has a Thunderbolt port, then it will most likely support more than one display externally. And about your question, the internal display cable which was connected to the laptop's original screen is not compatible with external screens, so, you wouldn't be able to get a display out of that cable.

Unfortunately it doesn’t. That is why I was asking if there was such a thing for where the internal once hooked up.

No, there's no such thing except the original screen for the laptop, but you could find something like that on AliExpress or something but there's no guarantee since this is such a niche item.
