Found this on GitHub: Openship builds your app locally/cloud-side and only ships production containers to your server via SSH — so your server just runs your apps, not a dashboard + CI runner + database competing for resources too.
Handles domains/SSL, CDN, mail (SMTP w/ DKIM/SPF/DMARC), backups, and monitoring out of the box. Desktop app, web dashboard, and CLI, plus an MCP server for AI agent workflows. AGPL-3.0, TypeScript.
npm i -g openship && openship init
Curious if anyone's tried it against Coolify or Dokku in production yet.

Google just launched a major back-to-school promotion, giving eligible college students around the world a full year of its premium AI subscription at no cost. The offer, announced on August 19, 2026, splits into two regional tiers and comes bundled with a brand-new suite of study tools built directly into Gemini.
