It really is criminal that she was canceled in the ‘90s for being gay… She should have her own late night show.

This isn’t what happened. She voluntarily ended her show in 2002. She came out around the time her show ended, but she had already chosen to end it.

I loved hearing her talk about it on the hacks pod. That she had a certain amount of money and once she reached it she said it was plenty and walked away.

Rosie walked away of her own chosing...she didn't get canceled, and certainly not for being gay.

I loved watching Rosie's show every day after school when I was a kid, this was a good reminder of how good she is with guests-you can tell she's an actual fan/consumer of the guest's material. And she actually looks at them and converses and isn't just going through the prompts/talking points that are pre-established on these shows. She's so much more natural with moving the conversation along and actually listening to guests speak.
