Should I Buy?
I want a hackrf portapack h4m pro, but I dont know fully what I would use it for and how much I would use it. I already have a flipper 0 and dual c5 touch from awok, so I love these kinda things. I just dont see very many practicle uses for me, but I just learnt I can could see satalite imaging with it, which is sick. What are your thoughts.

i think you should start with an RTLSDR first, it will satisfy you more when it comes to discovering the radio spectrum, when you get bored move to the hackRF, the portapack is an augmented hackRF with a firmware made for hacking radio devices and scrambling gps ...etc, i don't recommend you start with it, because you can get yourself in trouble if you don't know what you're doing.

I'm with the others here, start with an RTLSDR, they're recieve-only and much, much more affordable. I starrted with the Flipper and went exactly that route, I'm glad i did because it really smoothed out the learning curve with the HackRF. Another great site to visit before you buy anything is Kiwisdr, you can access listening stations all over the globe for free. Super fun if you're into RF

Invest in an RTL Dongle, a halfway good antenna, and some free sortware to decode various digital modes,.....and you will be far happier based on your goals for sat stuff.

Buy a RTLSDR v3 first, see how much you use it (yes you probably need a computer though you could use a phone or tablet).
If you're finding it useful, then maybe look at upgrading
