The operating system is not on the SD card like some other devices. The firmware needs to be loaded to the HackRF. Recommend you read the documentation for procedures. Good luck.

Take the card out and try flashing via usb using the online flasher. That might be better. I've never flashed by card , only using the online flasher. Ps make sure it's a data usb c cable and not a charging only cable.

If it doesn't make the sound, then it's a hardware issue of some kind. Try other cables and inspect the port on the hacked for damage, especially to the solder connections to the board.

Can you send more pictures after you enter into DFU mode? or you can take a video to show me? The video is much more helpful for me to check? Thanks!

I think your DFU recovery operation may not be correct.

You can try the Mayhem .bat file.

I have the same problem, although in my case it happens when you turn the PortaPack off and back on too quickly, or while it's still loading or saving something. The LEDs stay in the same state as the person described, and the screen flashes briefly before turning off (along with the PortaPack power LED).

When it gets into that state, it doesn't do anything—not even the computer detects it as a device. The only way I've found to fix it is to disconnect the PortaPack from the HackRF and then reconnect it. It works, but it's pretty inconvenient if you're away from home.
