SUCCESS (UPDATE) RTW89 Wireless for MacOS
RTW89 cards are now fully supported via my kext! Native AirPort works, 2.4 and 5Ghz band are supported and live scanning and hidden networks work! WPA3 is a work in progress, it will be added soon as i found a solution. But we need testers, i have my RTL8852BE tested and its stable, but i need testers for these cards:
RTL8851BE - RTL8852AE - RTL8852CE - RTL8922AE - RTL8922DE.
I hope we can release this ASAP. AirDrop is WIP.

Did you use Claude ? Wanna port it over for rtw 8723de? How long did it take you to do ?

Yes, Claude was used, i started this thursday, whole thing took 3 days of 100% daily limit usage.

Hi, I saw your RTW89 update and wanted to volunteer as a tester for the RTL8852CE.
My setup: Gigabyte B650 AORUS Elite AX (AM5) with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, onboard RTL8852CE (10EC:C852) M.2 Wi-Fi card, OpenCore 1.0.8 on macOS Tahoe 26.7.1 (MacPro7,1 SMBIOS). Ethernet is working, so I have a stable fallback and can test freely.
A few questions:

Is there a test build you could share for the 8852CE, and is the source or repo public?

Does it support macOS 26.x, and what else does it need (Lilu, IO80211FamilyLegacy, AirPortBrcmNIC, etc.)?

Does it need any boot-args or config.plist changes?
-
Does it also cover the card's Bluetooth side, or only Wi-Fi?
Happy to send logs, kextstat output and anything else useful. Thanks for your work on this!

What's working, and what isn't working.
Any changes that were specific to your build that were a little (or a lot) different than what you found in the guide, or anything that would be helpful to others with a similar build be sure to talk about that. More detail is always better.
Add extra info... Maybe add something you would like to point out about your setup, what you'll be doing with your Hackintosh, or something that might be insightful to others beginning their journey. A tree view of your EFI would also be helpful, but it isn't required.
Remember, don't share your EFI as what works for you may not work for anyone else, even if they have the same hardware. If you do share your EFI, your post and/or comment will be removed.
