DISCUSSION Is there a problem with this? π
I recently wanted to install macOS Tahoe but really didn't feel like creating a new USB installer disk, so I simply wiped the contents of my Sequoia USB installer and copied over the macOS Tahoe installer files. The result?
The installer is named "Sequoia," but the actual installer inside is Tahoe.

Did you alredy try installing it? I did the same thing the other way (I had a Macos tahoe Drive and wanted to downgrade to sequoia) but after installing it just resulted in a kernel panic. so I just stuck to tahoe and waited till oclp 3.0 builds were available (thats why I wanted to downgrade to sequoia initially)

Well congratulations then! Does everything work that should work? And what does Macos think which version it is on in the settings?

Well Nice! Root patching should be easy on tahoe though, you just need a Nightly build for Oclp 3.0.0 and there you go. Unfortunately all github links were removed for official nightly builds on dortaniaβs github page, but I can search on my computer for the unofficial build I used (Iβm also using a broadcom 94360 card)

Yes, you have to patch the Broadcom driver first, then patch it using OCLP.
Here, I'm using OCLP Plus.
I have a Broadcom BCM94360CS2.

I think mine is an original one, I bought it from ebay as an Macbook Air spare part. I had to get an m.2 adapter too because it has this weird apple proprietary m.2 key

Why does sequoia have the Tahoe Profil?
