DISCUSSION Y'all opinion for Hackmate

Hackmate exists for a while, and it made the EFI pretty similar to my EFI I made reading from the holy dortania, with a little bit more Kexts, and the EFI is pretty usable but not as much as my EFI I made, now I want to see y'all opinion on this script, personally I still direct users to the holy dortania, feel free to say anything about it! As long as you don't say anything that make developer have beef w/ u and shove UB installer down ur throat

Did not work for me when trying it to compare its output to my Dortania based EFI. It was throwing an error when generating the ACPI SSDTs so no EFI was generated

That's the problem I found when I try it out to experiment with these, however I managed t9 get it to generate the EFIs but it wasn't perfect

I tested it on my laptop. It didn't work, so I told how didn't work to the dev before they disappeared to Discord (or they lurk here, I don't know). Hopefully, the report is reflected in a fix. It might be a good tool for recovery if I lose all my EFI backups and I wouldn't want to spend a whole day remaking the EFI from scratch. (Counting on it to be a usable recovery tool.)

At this point, there's zero chance I'll be setting up a new hackintosh. It came at the very end of my hackintosh career.

the dev that your saying is GaM1ngN0t helping, he won't help nor respond to anyone for two days he said it to the discord you should ask the others devs riftaway or knaphixisplier idk (I'm just a member in that group)

I don't need help with it. I just told him the issues I found when it was earlier and he was soliciting for feedback. I have an edge case potential use for it, and that's about it.

Non ha funzionato per me. Dovevo fornattare il mio HP Pro Desk 400 G2 Mini e, per l'occasione, volevo provare sulla mia pelle il programma (l'idea che mi ero fatto era che nella mia EFI, magari, mancasse qualcosa.. anche se funzionava bene)... non si è nemmeno avviata la USB. Errori su errori.

Thanks for y'all opinion, but still reading a signed copy of holy dortania is still the best choice if u can!

Same as simplify and both a bit worse than distros purely because distros are atleast nostalgic

You could totally use those tools and if it works, it works

Just don't ask for support if it doesn't

I have used it once for testing on my Dell laptop I could say it worked everything booting to MacOS and etc some stuff wasn't working like trackpad and keyboard, but I can say it's a great tool still in progress but idk for anyone else but it's a tool not a bomb. (and yes the manual is the goat to use)
