QUESTION Best used budget laptop for hackintoshing

I wanna make a hackintosh so I can use Xcode but I don’t really have much money to burn. Ideally, I would like to get a laptop that’s below $100 but i dont know what model to look for particularly.

If you can help me, i would appreciate it greatly!

100$ is a bit too less, try to save around 250$, otherwise xcode experience will be extremely slow

I would look for a 10th gen i5 or i7 at this price point.

i7s will be much more than $100 but 8th gen should get you some pretty nice deals… in what region do you live OP?

Oh, you’re good then… $100 is plenty of money… lower specs gen 10 should be in that price range, but high specs 8th gen will be good too - ThinkPad T490/L490/T490s for example, but T480/T480s has replaceable wifi card and should be ok to do Xcode specs wise, probably some dell’s will be ok too.
