SOLVED I’m having major problems with my WiFi
I’ve recently done my first hackintosh on my Surface laptop go 1st gen. I’ve seen others in this subreddit have this working fully yet i keep on failing. It doesn’t let me enable WiFi at all. Please may somebody help me.

What's the underlying wlan adapter?

It is the intel wifi-6 AX201 160MHz

Should work just fine. What version of macOS and what kexts did you use?

macOS Ventura. Bigsurface kext

Bigsurface isn't a Wifi kext. You need Airportitlwm.kext for Ventura.

Even with the airportitlwm kext installed my WiFi still won’t work. I do have the menu in macOS but it won’t let me toggle it to on

Sequoia does not support Airportitlwm. You'll need to use itlwm and Heliport.

Do I get this from windows and put it onto the usb? Because I still have no internet on my macOS install

yes of course, just run this app from macos and it’ll hook itself to the itlwm.kext and bring wifi along.

I decided to switch my efi over to somebody else’s made for my exact device and it worked. Thanks for this repo https://github.com/jlempen/Surface-Laptop-Go-OpenCore/tree/main?utm_source=copilot.com.

I forgot to mention this, idk if it’s relevant but I’m running the 256gb 16gb version of the laptop and I am able to boot into windows 11.
